Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
1. Introduction
Pauzio ("Pauzio", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI voice-agent platform that lets businesses automate inbound and outbound phone calls. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at pauzio.com and to the Pauzio application and services (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, phone number, email address, and organization details you provide when you sign up or are added to an account.
- Contact data you upload — names and phone numbers of the people you choose to call, whether uploaded via CSV, entered manually, or imported from a Google Sheet you select.
- Call data — call metadata (timestamps, duration, status, the number called), call recordings where enabled, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries.
- Billing data — subscription plan, usage, and payment records (payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and analytics about how the Service is used.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- operate, provide, and maintain the Service;
- place the calls you configure and deliver transcripts, recordings, analytics, and summaries back to you;
- authenticate you and secure your account;
- process billing and prevent fraud or abuse;
- provide support and respond to your requests;
- improve and develop the Service; and
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Google user data & the Google Picker
Pauzio offers an optional integration that lets you connect a Google account so you can dial contacts from a Google Sheet. This integration is built to request the minimum access possible:
- We use the Google Picker with the
drive.filescope. This means Pauzio can only access the specific spreadsheet that you explicitly select through Google's own file picker. We cannot see, list, or access any other files in your Google Drive. - We read the rows of the sheet you select (such as names and phone numbers) solely to place the calls you request and to show you import results.
- We store a Google authorization token so the feature you enabled (for example, Call Automation that dials newly-added rows on a schedule) can continue to read the selected sheet. You can disconnect the Google integration at any time, which revokes this access.
Limited Use disclosure. Pauzio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the feature you requested, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service — for example telephony carriers (such as Twilio and Exotel), speech and AI providers, our cloud hosting and payment processors — and only as needed to perform their function.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below, subject to retention required by law.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted handling of recordings and tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
- Access & deletion — you may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.
- Disconnect Google — you can revoke Pauzio's access to your Google account at any time from the integration settings, or from your Google Account permissions.
- Account closure — you may close your account by contacting us.
9. International users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated through the Service.
12. Contact us
If you have questions about this Policy or your data, contact us at support@pauzio.com.
